The Quantis team is made up of highly qualified Muslim Finance professionals: traders, structurers, quantitative analysts, auditors, statisticians and financial engineers having an extensive experience in conventional finance, with an in-depth knowledge of Islamic rules related to nowadays’ finance and insurance system.

Each member of the Q-team contributes in his field of expertise, with a higher management team coordinating their efforts and organizing project deliveries for our clients.

Founding Members

Marwan Muhammad, Abdulhakeem Bouabid and Mehdi Zidani are the co- founders of the Quantis group.

Marwan graduated from Leonard De Vinci Engineering School in February 2003, based in Paris with a Financial Engineering degree, before joining SocGen's Tokyo branch option trading desk. He then worked during 2 years in HSBC Paris’ product engineering team, after which he joined a London-based firm as a Senior Valuation & Risk Analyst and Quantitative Projects Coordinator.

He regularly gives lectures on topics related to Islamic economics and finance in France.

He also collaborates with AIDIMM, an Islamic Finance organisation based in Paris and participates in training Muslim scholars in Financial mathematics.


AbdulHakeem graduated from one of France top engineering school, with an expertise in Statistics and Risk Management. After a 2-year experience with Arthur Andersen, he joined the BNP Paribas Group as a Senior Risk Analyst. He is currently helding a position of Risk Manager in one of BNPP Germany-based branches.


Mehdi is pursuing a Master’s in Management from a top French Business school. He is currently getting work experience at Green and Chambers Consulting, a marketing consulting company.


Marwan, Mehdi and Abdulhakeem have studied at the Centre for Research & Study on Islam in Paris.

All three graduated from the Institute for Islamic Banking & Insurance in London.

Localization

Quantis is mainly operating in London and Paris, with team members also present in Singapore, Spain, Dubai, Cairo and Hong Kong.

Projects can be managed locally or distantly depending on client's preferences.
